Transpira
Transpira is a photographic work that began in May 2016. It gathers a series of images documenting the everyday life of Kiva, a transgender woman of Irish origin.
It is a long-term project intended to portray, in a natural way, the phases she has gone through and is still going through.
Chapters that open and close in parallel to her physical and emotional catharsis, approached from intimacy, with a universal message of strength and resilience.
An ongoing project that will see the light in the form of an exhibition to give visibility and the broadest possible reach to a reality still unknown and stigmatised in our society.
